How does LOKABOX work?

It’s the number 1 Belgian storage solution for individuals or companies. You are completely autonomous and can access your space 7 days a week.

  1. Determine what you need to store.
  2. Estimate the size. Use our space calculator to evaluate the size you need.
  3. Sign your contract. Take an appointment now via our contact form or by phone at 0800 12 680 with your advisor to rent your space.
  4. Pack and store. Do you have the keys of your LOKABOX? All you need to do is pack and store your belongings in your space!

Available sizes

We have spaces of all sizes, from a locker to very large storage spaces. To choose your size, it is important to determine your need for storage. Do you want to evaluate the volume you need? Use our space calculator and find your unit.

All our storage spaces are 3 meters high. Therefore, it is important to optimize the disposition of your objects. We offer some good advice on the organization of your storage space.


Accessibility & schedule

Once your contract has been signed, you get direct access to your unit thanks to a confidential access code and the key of your personal locking system. Only you will have it. You can get this system in your LOKABOX centre.

Contact the LOKABOX advisor of your centre as soon as you find out you’ve lost your key or if you have forgotten your access code. You can also go directly to your LOKABOX centre with your identity card.

All our storage units are accessible from 6am to 10pm every day of the year, on Sundays and public holidays.

The reception of each of our centres is open from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6.30pm and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Do you have any questions? Come on site at one of our LOKABOX centres or call us at 0800 12 680.

You will find on each platforms at our LOKABOX centres, trolleys and pallet trucks available. You can directly place your items on the trolleys or pallet trucks and bring it to your storage space. To protect your belongings during transport or moving, don’t hesitate to get moving material and boxes in one of our LOKABOX shops.


Security

Confidentiality is an essential part of our security measures. For this reason, everything is implemented so that you can keep the wolf from the door. Your access code is confidential and unique. Only you have access to your space.

Yes. LOKABOX is equipped with state-of-the-art video surveillance systems that operate 24 hours a day. The G4S group also ensures the surveillance of our facilities.

No. Your locking system is strictly personal. The 3 unique keys are handed over to you at the signature of your contract. We advise you to keep it carefully for a future storage.


Contract & Termination

Your valid ID card will be required. We will also ask you to pay your first invoice. Once your contract has been signed, you can access your individual storage unit.

No, you don’t. At Lokabox, there are no deposit nor membership fees.

No. At LOKABOX, you will NEVER pay any fees.

At LOKABOX, you will sign a contract of a minimum duration of 7 days, renewable tacitly with no time limit.

Upon signing your contract, you will receive a LOKABOX cardboard folder, in which you will find the cancellation document of your contract. We ask you to complete it and send it to us at least 15 days before the desired release date by mail, email, fax, or you can directly give it to your advisor at your LOKABOX center.

Yes, for your tranquillity, the goods you store must be covered. If you do not have a specific coverage with your own insurance, you can contract to a flexible coverage adapted to the duration of your lease.


Payment & Invoices

  1. For your ease, you can pay your bills with direct debit. In this way, you will always be on time. A LOKABOX advisor will offer you this method when signing your contract.
  2. Go to your LOKABOX centre and pay in cash, by credit card or Bancontact
  3. Make a transfer each period with the slip at the bottom of each invoice that you will receive (by postal mail or by email).
